Comission Agreement
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, any commission
or use of services implies that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
Price Quotations
Quotations provided by Puikeih Lam that the client will receive, upon request via email.
Quotations are valid for a period of 30 days. Puikeih Lam reserves the right to alter or refuse to honour a quotation after expiry of the 30 days.
Additional Expenses
The client agrees to reimburse Puikeih Lam for any additional expenses incurred for the completion of the work. E.g. Delivery fee, Shipping insurance etc.
Refusal
The Client retains the right to terminate commissioned artwork at any time before the commissioned project is complete. The deposit is non-refundable.
Puikeih Lam retains the right to not accept a commission before a deposit is paid.
Details of Artwork
Reference/Photographic provision:
The Client will be required to provide quality reference photos and they must have permission to use said photographs.
Medium:
Artwork will satisfy requests of the client (Include info such as framing, what it will look like, what kind of file it will be delivered as, number of figures, etc)
Example photos may be sent to the artist to aid in artistic visions.
Progress
Once commission work has commenced, Puikeih Lam will message/email photographs of artwork and provide updates. Revisions to work can be requested but only within the limitations of existing work.
Upon completion, artwork will be sent to the client digitally in case of minor adjustments.
Copyright
Puikeih Lam retains all copyright of produced commissioned work. The Client has permission to share the work publicly and use it on display for private use but any reproduction of the work, especially reproductions that will be used for profit or commercial uses, is strictly prohibited unless approved by the artist in writing. Failing to do so is a crime and may result in legal action.
Social media sharing and other public sharing of artwork are vital for marketing purposes of the Artist. This includes, but is not limited to, artwork potentially being displayed on the artist’s Facebook, Instagram, X, website, studio, brochures, web and print advertisements and business documents. The Client consents to completed work, as well as reference photos, being used for these purposes.
If there are things that the customer does not consent to being used this way, this must be disclosed upon placing the commission. This may result in a higher price as it ultimately impedes the Artist’s ability to advertise business representatively.
Customer Privacy
Puikeih Lam will agree to delay sharing completed artwork if it is necessary for the plans of the client e.g. birthday gifts. This must be disclosed upon placing the commission.
Giving Credit
When sharing work publicly, either online or in person, the Client agrees to give the Artist credit through clear and visible labelling, tagging or verbal acknowledgement. Obstruction or concealment of the signature is prohibited.
Delivery
Physical Artworks: In-person delivery is always preferred over shipping. Shipping is available UK Only and is dependent on the scale of the artwork.
